Why X is the Rani Wiki

Michele-Bachmann

The Rani after staring into the untempered schism.

A charismatic and amoral woman, who considers herself a genius despite her obvious incompetence. The preceeding sentence fits two woman in particular: one, Minnesota representative and contender for the Republican nomination, Michele Bachmann; the other, The Rani.

Amoral[]

Both Bachmann and The Rani demonstrate a stunning amount of amorality in their actions. The Rani, for example, is not above mind controlling sexy boy servants, for the sake of science.

The possibility has also been presented that The Rani does have some sense of morality, albeit far outside conventions. For example, she justified turning her victims into sentient trees because of the greatly extended lifespan it presented them.

How very merciful of her.

Bachmann's approach to morality is similarly batshit insane, most of her actions and policies being entirely amoral, but with some backed through logically incoherent justifications. She defends her position to wipe out the minimum wage, thus placing millions of workers below the poverty line, with the view that doing so would reduce unemployment.

Genius[]

Bachmann also demonstrates a level of genius on par with The Rani's own. The Rani is of course portrayed as genius scientist, when in fact her experiments are spoiled by things as simple as The Master snatching her vial from her, or forgetting to lock her TARDIS.

Bachmann similarly thinks herself a genius, and somehow, someway, through actions as implacable as The Rani's graduation from the Time Lord academy, Bachmann has a J.D. Yet her intelligence is demonstrated through such phrases as “carbon dioxide is portrayed as harmful. But there isn't even one study that can be produced that shows that carbon dioxide is a harmful gas,” or “there are hundreds and hundreds of scientists, many of them holding Nobel Prizes, who believe in intelligent design,” or "Pelosi is committed to her global warming fanaticism to the point where she has said she has even said she is trying to save the planet. We all know that someone did that 2,000 years ago" or "I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970s that the swine flu broke out under another, then under another Democrat president, Jimmy Carter. I'm not blaming this on President Obama, I just think it's an interesting coincidence." Suffice it to say Bachmann demonstrates twisted logic bordering on insanity, in almost exactly the same fashion as did The Rani.

Hence, it's pretty clear that Bachmann is both amoral and a genius (but actually batshit insane). She's clearly a time lord, that time lord being The Rani.
